Abstract . The Capability Maturity Model (CMM) is used in the software industry to improve design process as well as product quality. Likewise, CMM is also used in the education sector for a similar purpose. This paper presents, in particular, a proposed maturity model for curriculum design for Institutions of Higher Learning in Malaysia. The Curriculum Design Maturity Model ONE (CDMM-1) is specifically aimed at guiding curriculum designers in producing quality curricula according to programme specifications. In this study, CDMM-1, which is derived from the proposed maturity model, has both process and product components. However, this paper only focuses on the product quality aspect.

Abstract . The development of the GPS (Global Positioning System) signal simulator involving to a number of key technologies, in which the generation of navigation message has important significance. Based on analysis of the structure of GPS navigation data, the paper researches the production of telemetry word and handover word, parity check code, time parameters and star clock. Using disturbing force equation and Lagrange planetary motion equation extrapolate ephemeris parameters whose feasibility is verified through the Matlab software finally.

Abstract . Optimized Link-State Routing (OLSR) protocol presents the advantage of finding a route between two nodes in the network in a very short time, thanks to its proactive scheme, but it can expend a lot of resources selecting the MultiPoint Relays (MPR) and exchanging Topology Control information. We present in this paper a new mechanism for OLSR, aiming to improve energy management in mobile ad hoc network; we are describing a modification in the MPR selection based on the willingness concept, by introducing residual energy of node. It is concluded that this solution decreases significantly the number of dead nodes by always choosing stable nodes with important residual energies as MPRs, which prolong the lifetime and enhance the performance of a mobile ad hoc network.
