Abstract . It is well known fact that was phrased by famous quality scholar P.B. Crosby that “it is always cheaper to do the job right the first time”. However, this statement must be reconsidered with respect to software development projects, because the concept of quality and associated costs measurements in software engineering discipline is not as matured as in manufacturing and other fields of the industry. Post delivery defects (i.e. software bugs) are very common and integral part of software industry. While the process of measuring and classifying quality cost components is visible, obvious and institutionalized in manufacturing industry, it is still evolving in software industry. In addition to this, the recommendations of British standard BS-6143-2:1990 for classifying quality-related costs into prevention costs, appraisal costs, and failure costs have been successfully adopted by many industries, by identifying the activities carried out within each of these categories, and measuring the costs connected with them, software industry has a long-way to go to have the same level of adoption and institutionalization of cost of quality measurements and visibility. Cost of Quality for software isn't the price of creating a quality software product or IT-service. It's actually the cost of NOT creating a quality software product or IT-service. The chronic affliction of majority of software development projects that are frequently found bleeding with cost overruns, schedule slippage, scope creep and poor quality of deliverables in the global IT industry, was the trigger for this research work. The idea was to examine a good number of SDLC-projects (proper mix of successful projects as well as failed projects) from multiple organizations end-to-end (i.e. from project-inception to project-closure) and empirically assess the quality management approach – focusing on how the quality was planned on these project(s), what specific software quality assurance and software quality control measured were employed on the projects under study and it’s possible impact on overall project success and achievement of business objectives. Lessons learnt from this study offer valuable prescriptive guidance for small and medium software businesses, who can benefit from this study by applying the same for their quality improvement initiatives using CoQ-metric, to enhance the capability and maturity of their SDLC-project performance.

Abstract . One of the disadvantages in Connection of wind energy conversion systems (WECSs) to transmission networks is plentiful turbulence of wind speed. Therefore effects of this problem must be controlled. Nowadays, pitch-controlled WECSs are increasingly used for variable speed and pitch wind turbines. Megawatt class wind turbines generally turn at variable speed in wind farm. Thus turbine operation must be controlled in order to maximize the conversion efficiency below rated power and reduce loading on the drive-train. Due to random and non-linear nature of the wind turbulence and the ability of Multi-Layer Perceptron (MLP) and Radial Basis Function (RBF) Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs) in the modeling and control of this turbulence, in this study, widespread changes of wind have been perused using MLP and RBF artificial NNs. In addition in this study, a new genetic fuzzy system has been successfully applied to identify disturbance wind in turbine input. Thus output power has been regulated in optimal and nominal range by pitch angle regulation. Consequently, our proposed approaches have regulated output aerodynamic power and torque in the nominal range

Abstract . SIP protocol is the standard signaling that developed for multimedia services and the interface between IMS servers and Existence defined. Integration of telecommunication networks and increase services based on sip protocol, we will feel more the need to increase the security level of this protocol. As current sample security mechanisms can be pointed to the End To End and Hop By Hop. In this manuscript we combination End To End and Hop By Hop models and present new model that called Hybrid. our propose based on mathematic relationship and new installation key. We implementation our propose by AVISPA software and then compare all of the result same as procedure time, overhead insure device and security holes that exit in, this model compared to previous models has been improved by this model.

Abstract . Abstract. By using the dynamic reconfigurable transceiver in high speed interface design, designer can solve critical technology problems such as ensuring signal integrity conveniently, with lower error binary rate. In this paper, we designed a high speed XAUI (10Gbps Ethernet Attachment Unit Interface) to transparently extend the physical reach of the XGMII. The following points are focused: (1) IP (Intellectual Property) core usage. Altera Co. offers two transceiver IP cores in Quartus II MegaWizard Plug-In Manager for XAUI design which is featured of dynamic reconfiguration performance, that is, ALTGX_RECONFIG instance and ALTGX instance, we can get various groups by changing settings of the devices without power off. These two blocks can accomplish function of PCS (Physical Coding Sub-layer) and PMA (Physical Medium Attachment), however, with higher efficiency and reliability. (2) 1+1 protection. In our design, two ALTGX IP cores are used to work in parallel, which named XAUI0 and XAUI1. The former works as the main channel while the latter redundant channel. When XAUI0 is out of service for some reasons, XAUI1 will start to work to keep the business. (3) RTL (Register Transfer Level) coding with Verilog HDL and simulation. Create the ALTGX_RECONFIG instance and ALTGX instance, enable dynamic reconfiguration in the ALTGXB Megafunction, then connect the ALTGX_RECONFIG with the ALTGX instances. After RTL coding, the design was simulated on VCS simulator. The validated result indicates that the packets are transferred efficiently. FPGA makes high-speed optical communication system design simplified.
